Super Clean Hotel, very cute local experience. Loved the free gated parking and all the amazing customer service. I use the Cpap machine and Mr. Richmond went out of his way to help me get distilled water for my machine. Above and Beyond !

Was a great place we always stayed at. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! Place is now filthy, no more soap and is pump, new charges for parking (charges $25 per car per night when later saw on website said $20). Very unfriendly owner. Nastily nickel and dime you for anything and everything. Asked for towel and saw new towel in cabinet but he had to go look for older ones. New incidental charges $150 which won’t be refunded for up to 10 days. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Bluestem Hotel is an absolute gem. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The hotel is exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. It truly feels like a boutique getaway oasis, peaceful, stylish, and perfect for a relaxing escape. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

If you blinked, you might have missed this place! It appears to be a motel that was renovated and turned into a pretty decent place. We were there for a family reunion, and this hotel was just a few blocks away from our event, so the location was perfect. The rooms are up to date and were clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the bathroom has a sliding door, covering both the sink and toilet area ( looks like it was once an open area), but the slider would not completely close, and the same way in my daughter's room. The bathroom door where the toilet is was removed, so without the main slider closing completely, the privacy becomes an issue. No biggie if you're there with someone you're very close to, but could pose an issue for some people. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. One big plus is that the parking lot is behind a gate, so our vehicles were safe as well as close. If you need a quick place to rest, this hotel is a good one!

At fist sight I was satisfied. I chose this hotel because it was close to the hospital my family member was admitted. After a two day drive the bed was the best. The shower the best. No amenities in room they are located in the lobby. No comp breakfast. The only service staff I was involved with was front desk. My experience with front desk was satisfactory. Very understanding of my situation with family. Safe parking and safe entry. I would personally recommend and for sure stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel from 12/13 - 12/16/25. We had a room with a king-sized bed, which we found to be very spacious with a spacious bathroom as well. The hotel is conveniently located in Torrance and in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and Old Torrance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Torrance and the South Bay Area.

Marty and Nicole were both so kind and helpful! This was my first time in the area for a work trip and I am very happy I stayed here versus other chain hotels. The parking was gated off and free which was a huge relief as I felt safe the entire time. I had a great experience staying here.
