Great place and great AC. I love the room, the outdoor (but very small) patio area, and the coffee. Sucks that we are charged for breakfast (1st time at an Ascend hotel and I would need to pay). Parking is tough and spaces are a little tight. Overall, I'd stay there again but I'd be better prepared when I arrived to bring breakfast items. Why they have is not worth the price.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed having meals in the shared common area, and it was especially nice to relax and chat around the fireplace in the evening. The warm and cozy atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.

Very cool place! Very secure and the rooms are very well kept and quiet. Parking is in an enclosed area behind a card controlled gate as well. Not to much to eat real close by, but Redondo Beach is a short ride and has a lot of places and great sunset views. Definitely would recommend staying here!

This is my second stay here. I live nearby 100 miles away. As a travel nurse I look for cozy, cleanliness, privacy, and intimate. This has it all. There's coffee, snacks and food to purchase, but no breakfast. Be prepared to order out. Overall, I love this place.

Excellent experience. The hotel’s cleanliness was impeccable throughout my stay; the rooms were always tidy and had a pleasant aroma. In addition, all the staff were very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.

I have been here for a few events in their event space and each time I have been really impressed. The hotel is super cute and feels newly renovated, with a lot of thoughtful design details throughout. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and the rooms had everything you’d need. The lobby and outdoor courtyard were especially lovely and made the whole experience even better. I especially love that the hotel is gated so it feels really private and secure.

OMG this place was so cute! Super clean and felt really safe. And free gated parking in LA?! I was honestly so excited about that. The courtyard was the perfect spot to relax after a long work day, and I loved grabbing a local beer from the front desk to enjoy by the fire pits. Nicole in the morning was also so kind and helpful—such a great touch to the whole stay

Super Clean Hotel, very cute local experience. Loved the free gated parking and all the amazing customer service. I use the Cpap machine and Mr. Richmond went out of his way to help me get distilled water for my machine. Above and Beyond !

Was a great place we always stayed at. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! Place is now filthy, no more soap and is pump, new charges for parking (charges $25 per car per night when later saw on website said $20). Very unfriendly owner. Nastily nickel and dime you for anything and everything. Asked for towel and saw new towel in cabinet but he had to go look for older ones. New incidental charges $150 which won’t be refunded for up to 10 days. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
