Large spacious rooms ruined by staff who would not stop knocking at our door on check out day. I have never been treated so poorly as a world traveler with Ambassador status in my life. My husband and I paid for late check out upon booking. On our last day staying here and we were interrupted not once, not twice… but FOUR times, despite paying for late check out. The first knock was well before check out time, waking us up during our hard earned getaway. If the goal from management is to make your guests feel like unwelcome intruders, you have certainly achieved that. There is truly no explanation or justification for treating your guests so poorly. As a former Marriott employee, I can say this is unacceptable in every regard. Do better and stop chasing out your paying guests. Unbelievable.

This hotel is conveniently located near the beautiful beach areas of Redondo and Manhattan Beach. The parking was inside the gates. There are many good places to eat within a mile or two. Our room was clean and free of odor. The bathroom was small but clean and had all the amenities. The queen-size bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was furnished with the needed utensils. The AC unit was outside and near the window but was noisy at times. The place was fairly quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. Many fresh and hot foods such as scrambled eggs, sausage, crispy hash browns, and soft pancakes. The reason for not giving a five rating was for the misleading service and the advertised parking fee. At the check-in time, the female clerk gave us two small water bottles. She did not say it was free or that there was a charge for it. When I received the final receipt via email, I noticed that I was charged six dollars for the water. The second thing was the parking fee. The hotel website mentioned $25 for parking. However, at the check-in counter, the sign said $27.50. Other than these two issues, our stay was good. Read less

Book it. ********* Pros: •Friendly staff, •Quite well kept facility •Pool, jacuzzi, outdoor fire pit lit nightly, well kept grills, basketball court. •Kitchenette •Package hold: we traveled there to visit family and the front desk happily accepted our package deliveries and kept them safe in a locked room for us to pick up with ID check. Cons: •Short showers hot water starts to run out after 10 minutes •Breakfast was just ok…but better than most. •IHOP and Dennys is around the corner. •No elevator (get a room on the 1st floor)

Hotel is somewhat dated, but the rooms were fine. I requested a first floor room because we had a lot of luggage….. didn’t happen. Asked for a room close to the front because we took Lyft…. Didn’t happen. This is a one night stay before a cruise so we’ll suck it up and manage !

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Torrance Redondo Beach, and unfortunately the experience was far below Marriott standards. As a Titanium Elite member, I requested a 3 p.m. late checkout, which was approved on the Marriott chat. However, at 1:30 p.m., Clarissa from the front desk called to inform me I would be charged late fees, and she refused to believe my request had been approved. I had to stop by the front desk and show screenshots for them to reactivate my key. Not only was there no apology, but her tone was disrespectful, which made the situation even more frustrating. Beyond the service issue, the room had a strange odor, and the overall experience did not feel clean or welcoming. This was a very poor stay, especially given Marriott’s usual quality and the expectations at the Titanium Elite level. I hope management addresses both the customer service issues and the room conditions, as this property is far below brand standards.

Great long term place to stay. I'm here on business for a month. Very quiet and safe feeling. I appreciate that parking is behind a gate. No need to worry about my truck. Nice facility with laundry, pool, workout room. The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this establishment.

For the price, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The service, the room, and the overall experience were far beyond what I anticipated. The parking was easy to access, and both the lot and walkways were well lit, which added an extra layer of comfort and security. The entire property was spotless and well maintained. My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable — definitely a step above what you’d expect at this price point. What really made this stay stand out was the outstanding service. Enzo at the front desk was exceptional. He made check-in smooth and welcoming, and his genuine kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. The service was so impressive, it felt like I was staying at a 5-star resort. Every hotel should have someone like him. I highly, highly recommend this place!

I stayed there to heal from my mothers death and I love the fireplace. I go to Walmart and buy my duraflame to burn in the daytime. The last time I stayed it was a horror movie. I left with my suitcase to dispose of and I was gone 4-6 hours. To return to my room to fine all my belongings gone. My new white towels, my bath and body works, my dove shampoo and conditioner plus other new items. Once returning to my room I walked into the t shower to wash my hair noticing I did not have any shampoo. I immediately called the front desk and said someone stole my stuff. The manager was extremely nasty and said no one stole my stuff. I was so angry she said that I could leave I said no problem I bet I won’t pay for these two nights I immediately prepared to leave when there was a knock on my door from a man I didn’t answer Then a lady came and dropped all my belongings in a bag at my door. I called my credit card to reverse charges and I never been back All I like is the cleanliness score and the fireplace. They never apologize just increased the deposit. I will never go back. Hated it.

As a Bonvoy Platinum member, I was highly disappointed with this Marriott. I generally only stay at Marriott hotels when traveling and this does not live up the Marriott standards. First off the rooms were spacious but there was a lot wrong with them. The first room we got had a funky smell to it, the vents were dirty and need to be thoroughly cleaned (probably the musty smell). They needed a paint job and cabinets also need some love. Some of the outlets didn’t work and the bathroom light would turn off every 15 seconds then turn back on. Bout had a seizure when using the restroom. There was visible damage to the baseboards and walls. The sheets had a rip in them and the bed was uncomfortable. The floors were so dirty my son’s feet turned almost black with dirt, when walking around barefoot for less than an hr. The front door didn’t line up right either so you couldn’t fully lock it on top. The second room we got, after asking for a change, was a cleaner by far but still had some issues. The only thing that saved this review from being 0 stars was the staff. What a phenomenal group of workers there. From the manager to the front desk, they were incredibly kind and helpful. I feel for them having to deal with complaints about the rooms. This place needs a room makeover badly. If I owned this hotel I would be embarrassed to have guests stay there. Also, don’t advertise “EV charging” when all you have is a single, one plug charger on site.

Stayed at this property on Monday 6/23/25 and couldn't have been pleased with the accommodations. I'm a lifetime Platinum Marriott member this hotel is one of the reasons why. Deion checked my son and I in and was extremely courteous and professional. Marriott seems to have a gift for selecting the right employees, because Deion gave us a great room and went beyond the norm to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you!!!
