Frequently praised for its friendly staff, convenient location near Del Amo Mall, and clean facilities, this property offers a solid value for families and business travelers seeking comfort. However, high costs for parking and Wi-Fi, along with inconsistent service—specifically regarding international honors programs and reservation conflicts—are noted drawbacks.
Front desk has no idea what they are doing. Expects customers to work in order to fix mistakes that are clearly theirs, one example would be being double charged for parking and them refusing to take responsibility without work on our part.
If I could, I would give them a single star. Initially, we thought the room was clean, but upon entering the restroom, we discovered blood on our towels. This incident highlights their negligence in ensuring the safety of their guests. Moreover, they charge an exorbitant $42.00 for parking, which is significantly high. It’s greed on the hotels end since I’ve already paid over $300.00 for a stay. This was my first and last time staying at this establishment. To make matters worse, there was no water in the room.
Good hotel location, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The location is also very quiet, has a gym, and a pool. The hotel rooms are in good condition, clean, and come with all the standard affairs. Only complaint about the stay was that there was some sort of company party happening and all of the parking spots were taken. I had to circle the parkade numerous times before the attendant let me park in the valet section.
Standard Marriott rooms before the latest refresh (still has alarm clock and ironing board). Still in good condition, but starting to show age a little. Overall good restaurants and withing walking of other options.
I'd like to let everyone know that Tanya in the Starbucks coffee ?? shop is awesome ? she is very polite and has excellent customer service skills ? she has made our stay totally worthwhile and is just a big blessing to have working with Marriott in the Torrance location ? she made our stay wonderful!*100 percent ?
Had a great stay at Marriott Redondo Beach Hotel! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout our stay. Excellent location, smooth check-in, and a very relaxing overall experience. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
I love staying at the Marriot hotels this one has the local beer from Red Car Brewery on tap for anyone wanting a taste of Torrance hometown culture and they also have giant games in their patio like Connect 4 and Jenga (I think) and bean bag toss games. It's cool in the summertime which is almost all the time. It's always nice, clean, 3tc
I’m sure the hotel itself is very nice and will provide a great stay. However, the AI phone system was extremely frustrating. I wasted quite a bit of time trying to get assistance, and eventually had to keep repeating “real person” just to reach someone who could help. My request wasn’t complicated—I simply wanted to extend my stay by one night—but the process was made unnecessarily difficult. Id highly recommend changing this OR providing an email contact that can be used for matters like this.
Platinum member, stayed 2 nights on points. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Location is very good: near LAX, right next to a large mall, and close to nice beaches. Breakfast is complimentary for Platinum members, but it’s average and could be improved. The hotel does not have an M Club, but they substitute it with a $25 per night credit. I did not receive a room upgrade, but I was given early check-in and late checkout, which was appreciated. The main downside is parking: self-parking is $42 per night, which feels overpriced. Management should reconsider. There is street parking in the neighborhood, though I’m unsure if it’s safe or allowed overnight. Overall: convenient location, clean hotel, but average breakfast and very expensive parking.
I would stay here again. It was a normal hotel room as far as size. We got two queens. The room and hotel were clean/updated. Housekeeping was really great. The front desk staff were nice. We had issues with our room keys a lot because someone booked my room for my party. One night was purchased, another was free, and the rest were used with points (this hotel kept us in the same room but for every reservation, we had to have the person who got us the room, "check us out and check us back in". We were listed as an authorized person to speak to but were unable to do that ourselves. You need a key to get to the suites and to the pool which made it feel secure. There was breakfast which was $30 pp and I believe children were free (or they were being nice when we ate there and didn't charge us). I enjoyed the pool and there is a nice hot tub. There is a Starbucks inside which was nice as well as a machine you can get toiletries from (noticed this on my way out). They do offer late check outs depending on your status ? and will also store your bags once you've checked out for hours or (possibly the day??). Would recommend. NO SHUTTLE TO LAX.
