Do NOT stay here!! A big waste of time and money. The moment we walked in, we got bad customer service. Saki (was her name) - never in my 15 years of booking various hotels have I experienced such bad customer service. She was laughing and yelling in my face when i kindly asked her where the bathroom was, and her response was “the first floor,” with the worst attitude in the world! I told her that I had never been here before and she still hesitated to show me where the bathroom was. She was so rude and we will never be staying here again.

Room 341 is bad. Needs major update and better cleaning. See pictures. I paid for 2 queen beds, was given a king bed. Elevator is dirty. Housekeeping needs to report stuff better. Maintenance needs to do better upkeep of room(s). I didn't even bother to take pics of the ceiling in the hallways of 3rd floor, lots of water stains. Won't stay again. Can't recommend.

Location is awesome, close to everything. Quiet. We got an upgrade to my fave room. 312. But no toothbrush was provided this time. The check in took some time coz there s lots of people checking in. But its worth the wait for the upgrade. I had a very relaxing stay. I will be back soon. This was our third time here. Cant wait for our forth time.

Can always rely on this hotel being very clean clean clean!!! Thank you Redac! Service as only the Japanese culture knows. Much more superior than your typical American owned hotel. Japanese Hoteliers know how to treat guests and they have wonderful cleanliness that's superior to most other hotels.

Tried to check in around 11 PM. A young female staff member was chewing gum and using her phone while handling my check-in. She insisted a physical card was required for the deposit and refused tap payment. All alternative solutions (paying the next day, leaving my passport, etc.) were rejected without any effort to help. When I expressed frustration, she responded in a very rude, condescending way, saying: “Do you even want to leave your luggage? If you don’t like it, just cancel. You won’t get a refund anyway.” This was said while still chewing gum. Because it was late and exhausting to find another hotel, I had no choice but to go back for my bag (over 1 hour round trip). I finally checked in with another male staff member. Despite requesting in advance not to be placed in an end room, I was given the very last room. The room had an open window, mold around the curtains and window frame, and multiple ants near the window, on the floor, and even around the coffee machine. I was moved to another room, where I still saw insects. It should also be noted that housekeeping is not provided daily and only comes if you call and request it, which was not clearly explained in advance. In the end, the final room I was moved to had acceptable cleanliness, but the overall experience had already been ruined. I understand hotel policies, but staff attitude, cleanliness, and room quality are separate issues. Paying guests deserve at least basic respect. The positives were free parking and a washlet.

Hotel is Japanese style with Japanese-type bidet. Room and bed are standard for hotel this level. Toilet seat is smaller than the standard size. The biggest issue is the internet connection, it is spotty and super slow. I have never experienced this in any other hotels. Front desk at night said she reported the issue but front desk in the morning is not helpful at all. It’s very inconvenient!

Super clean and really nice. We had an issue with the tv and it just didn’t work but we were so tired we knocked out anyways. The room was a little warm and the ac didn’t really push cold air. I set it at 60 degrees and it was still warm. But again it was really clean and comfy so we knocked out.

I stayed here at the Redac about two months ago and I decided to go there again this week because I enjoyed my stay last time. Well this week was disappointing. The cleanliness and upkeep was just not there. The paint on the bathroom ceiling appeared to be warping and possible mold? There was a piece of the floor that was loose in the bathroom, it kept coming up causing a tripping hazard. I went to use the microwave and noticed there was rust inside. Everytime the upstairs AC unit was on, the drip would come down to my window, making constant noise. I know things change, but last time I was there they had Netflix, Amazon, and Tubi offered on the TV and this stay they didn't have it. I stayed in the room often this time so I was looking for the TV options. I don't know if I would be staying here again..

I almost don't want to leave this review but they deserve it. THE MOST UNDERRATED, BEST VALUE CONSISTENTLY HANDS DOWN. 24 hour counter , Excellent service, the employees are friendly, the rooms are ALWAYS clean and usually under $100? AAAAAA+++. GOOD JOB Redac Gateway
